Purpose

As part of the community of believers, the members of Zion Lutheran Church elected to support a capital debt reduction campaign, to eliminate the short and mid-term capital debt of the congregation.

The Opportunities

The success of this campaign will fulfill the mission that God has given over to Zion Church in the Hinsdale community. Specifically we seek to:

• Continue our commitment to the music ministry and worship experience
• Continue the growing ministry of the Early Childhood Education Center
• Grow and develop our ministry to children, youth, and families
• Expand outreach and increase the number of fellowship opportunities
• Grow Bible study opportunities
• Develop ministry to seniors
• Begin parish nurse ministry

The Campaign

The campaign goal is to raise $600,000 for the elimination of short and mid-term debt. This will eliminate approximately $33,000 per year in interest allowing the congregation to better support its ministries and goals.
