Haiti Collection 2010

 The largest earthquake to hit Haiti in 200 years left many people without homes. Extensive property damage, loss of life and rampant disease in an impoverished country already challenged by longtime political strife and poverty moved the people of Zion Hinsdale in partnership with Lutheran Church Charities to be a collection site for Haiti . 

 Over 60 boxes of clothes, shoes, medical supplies, tools and personal items were packed and sent to Haiti. We want to thank everyone who participated. Together we can make a difference!

On this web site you’ll find some information about our worship services and Early Childhood Education Center. But until you experience Jesus’ love for you here at Zion, it’s hard to get a full picture of the great blessings God is working in this place and among His people. One of the principles that guide our mission in this community is to Build Caring Relationships through Christ and that’s what we hope to do with you and your family.

 We Had Fun!

This summer, we set sail for VBS fun! We felt the sea spray in our faces as the sails snapped overhead – and experienced the deep, rolling waters of God’s love.  Throughout VBS an emphasis on evangelism helped the kids learn that they can make Christ known to others.

The Crew helped us set sail every day.
