Sunday mornings at 8:00 am: Pastor Haberkost is leading a class on the Book of Acts. The class meets in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

Thursday mornings at 6:00 am: The men meet in the lobby of the church.

1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:15 am beginning September 15th: The Heart of Jesus: Woman in the Gospel of Luke

The Wednesday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class is studying women in the Bible mentioned in Luke. We will see what God tells us about our lives through Jesus’ actions with these women. We will find out about the women who mourned Jesus’ death, the woman who rejoiced in His resurrection, the crippled woman, the persistant widow, the poor widow, and the woman who lost her coin.

Treats are provided along with wonderful fellowship, and we are greatly encouraged by each other and the Word. Call the church office at 630-323-0384 by September 7th if you do not already have a book so we can obtain one for you.

Monday Night Women’s Bible Study beginning September 13th, 2010

Join us for another Beth Moore DVD led Bible study:  Breaking Free.  This is Beth Moore’s life message about freedom in Christ.  She will take us through scripture to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom   God intends for you to know and believe Him, glorify Him, experience His peace, and enjoy His presence.  “For Freedom Christ set us free. No longer be entangled in a yoke of bondage.”  (Gal 5:1)  We will learn how to remove the obstacles that keep us from being the women God created us to be and will journey through Judges and Isaiah to develop the steadfast mind of servants of God.  “…and [God will] provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”  (Isaiah 61:3)

 We meet from 6:45 to 8:45 pm in the gathering area of the church for 10 weeks from September 13 to November 15.  We gather for refreshments at 6:45 and the class will begin at 7.   Come for fellowship and to be greatly encouraged by The Word.  Come to become a planting of the Lord, displaying His splendor.
