Zion Quilters send a truck load of quilts to Lutheran World Relief

The Zion Quilters are women from various churches that meet every Tuesday morning at 9:00 am. 6 X 6 inch squares and larger pieces are pieced together to make 60 X 80 inch quilts that are sent to Lutheran World Relief who then sends them worldwide. Quilts are used for bedding, room dividers, baby carriers around a mother’s back, rugs, insulation for walls, makeshift ceilings, a sack for carrying things to market and more.  Anyone is welcome to come and join the group.

Also, donations of fabric, thread, yarn and batting are always welcome. Call the church office at 630-323-0384 for more information.
